Call 911 if your child experiences a life-threatening emergency. If your child has a non-emergent matter, such as a cough or painful earache that you feel cannot wait until morning, we recommend available afterhours care in the community. If you feel your child needs immediate attention for a more serious matter, such as an injury, difficulty breathing, uncontrollable bleeding, severe lethargy, etc., we recommend taking your child to the emergency department at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City.

We have a provider who takes emergency calls after regular office hours and when our clinic is closed.

If you are unsure if your child needs medical attention, please call our office phone number (801) 292-1464 and you will be given the phone number for our after hours answering service who can connect you with our on-call provider.

Securely email our office via our on-line mykidschart portal for scheduling a well child check, requesting a non-urgent callback, requesting a chronic medication refill.

Otherwise routine questions (mild illness, appointments, prescription refills) can be discussed by calling our office during the morning or next day.

We encourage you to refer to our website for general health information any time.

As always, if you feel your child has a life threatening emergency, call 9-1-1.
