Busy Bee Pediatrics

Busy Bee Pediatrics provides state of the art medical care and
un-bee-lieveable pediatric care for you and your family

Busy Bee Pediatrics officially opened in 2015.
In 2018, we proudly became a NCQA recognized Patient-Centered Medical Home.

A medical home is where everybody knows your name and provides your children with comprehensive primary care. We strive to develop a partnership of mutual responsibility and trust by knowing you and your children personally.
We offer accessible, continuous, comprehensive, family-centered, compassionate, coordinated and culturally effective medical care.

Formerly Dr. Doug Coombs' pediatric practice of 36 years, Busy Bee Pediatrics opened under the new ownership of Dr. Bonnie Feola, with many of the same wonderful staff. Dr. Coombs had introduced Nurse Practitioners into his pediatric practice in the early 1990s. Pediatric Nurse Practitioners are Registered Nurses with advance practice training, who are qualified to examine, diagnose and treat patients with a variety of healthcare needs.

Busy Bee Pediatrics continues to use the same healthcare model, with our well-qualified and experienced:
Family Nurse Practitioners; Lisa Sharp and Emily Daines
Pediatric Nurse Practitioners; Gina Capps, Kim Webb and Adam Johnson, Ronda Miller-Ernest.
Our Pediatric Psychologist, Tara Sharifan, PsyD. joined us in 2018.

Bonnie B. Feola, MD, FAAP is the Pediatrician and Medical Director of Busy Bee Pediatrics.

Dr. Bonnie chose the name Busy Bee Pediatrics to reflect upon the wonderful job children and youth have in mastering and learning about the world around themselves as "busy bees", as well as to be inclusive of the office's other exceptional and dedicated medical providers.

Our experienced staff uses the most up-to-date medical electronic record and follows currrent American Academy of Pediatrics' Bright Futures developmental and preventive guidelines.

We are detail-oriented and offer personalized care.

We offer same day sick appointments in addition to newborn and scheduled well child/adolescent care, behavioral and mental health visits, nutritional and dietary/exercise guidance and ongoing chronic care oversight.

It is our preference to offer state-of-the-art medical care with the timeless values of care, compassion and respect.

Un-BEE-lieveable pediatric care!
